Serving on the board gives you a more prominent role in shaping the music we play, the lessons we offer, our social outreach, the welcoming environment we create, and all the little tactical decisions that make our club thrive. Your ideas, your perspective, and your energy can make a real difference.

Presides over officer/board meetings which mostly entails distributing a planned agenda, ensuring the meeting is scheduled, and keeping the meeting on track. 

Organizes and runs officer/board meetings in the absence of the President. 

Records minutes from meetings and distributes them to the board when complete. Primary person for sending external communications not otherwise delegated or assigned.

Oversees and reconciles monies taken in and paid out. Updates the general ledger software with any transactions. Files the annual quick-forms for the IRS and Hawaii non-profit governance. Provides brief treasurer report at board meetings.

Participates in monthly meetings to provide general guidance for the club and generally help make the club thrive and be a fun place to be and lead.
